Prices and opening times


We have introduced limits on visitor numbers to help keep everyone safe, and you will not be able to visit without booking online in advance.

Tickets must be booked in advance via the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses.

The Kinnaird Head Trust manages the lighthouse, and at this moment in time, Historic Scotland members will not receive free entry to the site.

Concession (60yrs+ and unemployed) £7.00
Child (5-15yrs) £4.00
Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) £20.00

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 go free. 

Historic Scotland Members retail and café discount is not eligible at the Lighthouse.

Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4.30pm

Visiting Kinnaird Head castle and lighthouse will be by guided tour, and will run every half hour and must be booked in advance.

The Museum will be open 10am-5pm Wednesday to Sunday. For more details visit
