Prices and opening times

The Kinnaird Head site is open, but due to ongoing repair works to the Castle and Lighthouse building, interior access is limited to the museum and collections, with the castle and light visible from the exterior only.

The Kinnaird Head site is managed independently by the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and Historic Scotland members do not presently receive free entry to the site

Admission

We have introduced limits on visitor numbers to help keep everyone safe, and you will not be able to visit without booking online in advance.

Tickets must be booked in advance via the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses.

Concession (65yrs+ and unemployed) £7.00
Child (5-15yrs) £4.00
Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) £20.00

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 go free. 

Historic Scotland Members retail and café discount is not eligible at the Lighthouse.
