Free entry, but donations are welcome.
Opening times
1 April to 30 September: Monday to Saturday, 10am to last entry at 4pm; Sunday, 2pm to last entry at 4pm (closes 4.30pm).
1 October to 31 March: Daily except Sunday, 10am to last entry at 3pm (closes 3.30pm).
Closed for lunch 12.30pm to 1.30pm (last entry 12 noon).

Adverse weather, essential maintenance works, or other reasons beyond our control may cause a site to close at short notice. We advise checking ahead if the forecast is poor or you are making a long journey. We will add any known closures to this page or you can check our unexpected and short term closures page.
The cathedral is a working church and opening hours may vary due to private services and events.
