Access

You can visit the exterior of the house and grounds all year round without booking. Visits to the house are by guided tour only. 

Kinneil House Access (tour days only)

  • Access to interior/ground floor is via two steps. The rest of the house is via spiral staircase. 
  • Parking: please follow the signage as you enter the grounds with parking in the field immediately on your right as you enter the grounds. Please do not park on the grass in front of the house.

Toilets

There are no public toilets at Kinneil House. There are acessible toilets at Kinneil Museum adjacent to the house and are available during museum opening times

Visits to the house are by guided tour:

Sat only, 4 Apr to 19 Sept (excls 16 May, 6 Jun & 5 Sept), 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm (family friendly slot).

Tours last approx 45mins and must be booked in advance.

The Friends of Kinneil will also offer a volunteer-led outdoor walk on Saturdays at 12 noon (excls 6 Jun & 5 Sept).
