Access

Kinneil House Access (tour days only)

  • Access to interior/ground floor is via two steps. The rest of the house is via spiral staircase. 
  • Parking: please follow the signage as you enter the grounds with parking in the field immediately on your right as you enter the grounds. Please do not park on the grass in front of the house.

The Museum

The museum's ground floor has ramped access and is disabled accessible. It also features an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.

There is also an interactive computer display, allowing people with mobility problems to see the upper floor rooms at Kinneil House.

Opening times

You can visit the exterior of the house, the grounds and the museum all year round without booking.

Visits to the house are by guided tour only (approx 45 min and must be booked in advance):
Saturdays only from 6 Apr to 28 Sept, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm.

Museum opening times (next to Kinneil House, managed by Falkirk Council):
Daily except Tues, 12.30pm to 4pm.
