Free entry, but donations are welcome.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to last entry 4.15pm (closes 5pm)
Sunday, 1pm to last entry 4.15pm (closes 5pm)
1 October to 31 March:
Monday to Saturday, 10am to last entry 3.15pm (closes 4pm)
Sunday, 1pm to last entry 3.15pm (closes 4pm)
Closed for lunch 12.30pm until 1.30pm (last entry 12.15pm)

Closures

Adverse weather, essential maintenance works, or other reasons beyond our control may cause a site to close at short notice. We advise checking ahead if the forecast is poor or you are making a long journey. We will add any known closures to this page or you can check our unexpected and short term closures page.
The cathedral is a working church and opening hours may vary due to private services and events:
- Thursday 19 June: the cathedral will close at 3pm.
- Monday 23 June: Closing earlier at 3.30pm (last entry at 3.15pm)
- Saturday 5 July: opening at the later time of 11am.
