Free entry, but donations are welcome.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Adverse weather, essential maintenance works, or other reasons beyond our control may cause a site to close at short notice. We advise checking ahead if the forecast is poor or you are making a long journey. We will add any known closures to this page or you can check our unexpected and short term closures page.

Closures for private services and events
The cathedral is a working church and opening hours may vary due to private services and events.
- Friday 5 December: the cathedral will be closed all day.
- Saturday 6 December: the cathedral will be closed from 2pm. (Last entry at 1.15pm)
- Friday 19 December: Closing at 12.30pm (last entry at 12 noon)
