Important notice

The castle is closed today Sunday 23 March due to unforeseen circumstances

Prices & times

We’re working on plans for conservation and improvements to the castle, including repairs to features like the mighty Donjon (the impressive tower fortification) and the Great Hall. Why not come along for a visit and ask our staff about the work that we’ll be carrying out in the coming years?

To support our conservation work at Bothwell Castle and beyond you can make a donation. We also have cash and card donation facilities on site when you visit.
