Access
Parking
Trinity House has no visitor car park.
The car park for users of the Kirkgate Shopping Centre, behind Trinity House, is level tarmac and has three accessible bays. Free parking is limited to 90 minutes, after which a charge applies.
Approach to site
The main entrance to the house is up three wide stone steps.
There is a ramped side entrance with a gradient of 1:10 (its lower section is 1:12). Please note that we are currently facing issues with the wheelchair ramp, which is primarily impacting electric wheelchair access. If you are a wheelchair user, please contact us in advance to discuss your access requirements.
Monument
The ground floor, which includes the Master’s Room, is on the level.
There is an audio-visual presentation in the vaults, reached by 9 stone steps with handrail.
An impressive collection of maritime object is displayed on the first floor. This is up a large, carpeted staircase of 22 even steps and handrails.

Toilets
Nearest adapted toilet is at:
Taylor Gardens, half a mile from the museum.
It is a RADAR scheme toilet.
Dogs
Assistance dogs are permitted at all our sites and within roofed areas.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and not left unattended. A no fouling rule applies at all our sites.
Visitors' dogs are not permitted at Trinity House.
