Dunkeld Cathedral: Prices and Opening Times

Prices and opening times

The part of the Cathedral used by the Parish Church (not managed by Historic Environment Scotland) is open and the cathedral grounds are accessible. There is currently no visitor access to the ruined cathedral nave or the tower due to restrictions in place as a precautionary measure following high level masonry inspections.

Admission

Dunkeld Cathedral is free to visit.

Opening times

1 April to 30 September:
Daily, 9.30am to 5.30pm
Last entry 5pm

1 October to 31 March:
Daily, 10am to 4pm
Last entry 3.30pm

Closed on 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January.

Unexpected closures

Adverse weather or other reasons beyond our control may cause a site to close at short notice.

Before you travel, you can view current unexpected closures.

Dogs, with the exception of guide dogs, are not permitted at Dunkeld Cathedral.
