Celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE Day

Thursday 8 May marked 80 years since Victory in Europe (VE) Day, which celebrated the formal acceptance of Germany’s surrender by the Allies. We commemorated that by hosting a living history event at Stirling Castle. There was also an evening concert in the Great Hall with swing music.
