Accessibility

Visitor parking is about 15 metres from the site entrance.

Visitors using wheelchairs, and those accompanying them, can enter the site using a RADAR key to unlock two gates on the modern bridge across the moat. Other visitors are encouraged to use the older bridge, which is around 180 metres around the moat.

Beyond the bridge, access is via paths through long grass. The site is steep and uneven, with a very steep slope leading up to the castle. Please follow on‑site signs, especially in areas where erosion is being managed.

There are no toilet facilities at Duffus Castle.
