Prices and opening times

The Brough of Birsay is free to visit and open all year, but only accessible at low tide. Please take care, the causeway is uneven and may be slippery. You can check tide tables at Skara Brae or call them on 01856 841 815. Tide times may also be found on the Met Office website.

Please note, the visitor centre is closed.
