HES sites currently in level 4 council areas to reopen

We are pleased to announce that we will be reopening the doors to the following ticketed sites as of Saturday 12 December.

Two members of staff at Stirling Castle ready to welcome visitors

Following the First Minister’s recent announcement that level 4 restrictions in 11 council areas are set to be lifted as of 6pm on Friday 11 December, and we are pleased to announce that we will be reopening the doors to the following ticketed sites as of Saturday 12 December.

As an organisation we have robust reopening procedures in place and can’t wait to welcome you again to experience the magic of some of Scotland’s most iconic sites.

Pre booking is now available online and bookings are now open up until 31 March 2021 to these sites as well as many others across Scotland.

As always please remember to visit the Scottish Government website for the latest travel advice before booking and please don’t visit a site in a level 3 area unless you are resident in the council area.

For further information on visiting a site and to help plan your visit, please go to www.historicenvironment.scot/coronavirus.

We look forward to welcoming you back.
