Coorie in this Autumn with our home and lifestyle range

As the nights begin to draw in, our Coorie range offers the perfect way to embrace the changing seasons.

Made in Scotland, this curated collection of exclusive items encapsulates a deep sense of comfort, warmth and happiness, and offers a feeling of cosiness as the colder months creep in.

The Coorie range includes bestselling, exclusively designed products featuring the trademark contemporary Coorie tartan, including a throw, cushion cover and scarf. Woven in Scotland from the finest Bowhill pure 100% lambswool, each item is created by experienced craftspeople at Lochcarron mill, with soft heathery tones inspired by Scottish nature and the saying 'coorie in', which means 'hold close to one’s arms in showing of love'.

Coorie has in more recent times become an expression of well-being, particularly as the night’s grow colder, and embracing a way of living that allows time to make small changes to your home and wider environment to create a sense of warmth and well- being.

The wider Coorie range also features ceramics by Clod & Pebble made in Ayrshire with ethically sourced materials, and candles created by The Coorie Company, whose soy wax vegan candles, bring evocative scents of the Highlands, from the sea to lavender into the home, and are ethically produced and fully biodegradable.

Customers can even learn how to hand weave their own tartan with the exclusive Coorie Bespoke Coaster Kit.

Natasha Troitino, Head of Retail at Historic Environment Scotland, said:

Our Coorie range is one of our bestsellers, and it’s not hard to see why. Designed to provide the optimal cosy haven, these products are perfect for hunkering down during chillier Scottish evenings. With all items beautifully crafted across different areas of the country, we’re able to support both local businesses and manufacturers and spotlight true Scottish talent.

“Plus, Christmas will be here before we know it and our Coorie range is just the ticket for thoughtful gift giving. Our candles, soap and cosy socks make for great stocking fillers, or if you’re looking for something really impressive, tartan pieces like the Cashmere Coorie scarf would be an extra special treat to find under the tree.”

The Coorie range is available on Stor.scot, the online shop for Historic Environment Scotland.

Historic Scotland members can enjoy an exclusive 20% off Stor products in store and online.
