This Easter weekend Historic Environment Scotland (HES) is inviting visitors to iconic heritage sites across Scotland to enjoy a weekend of Living History encounters. From Saturday 4 to Monday 6 April, fifteen historic sites will see history come to life, from medieval foragers, calligraphers and blacksmiths to eighteenth century soldiers and Viking metal workers.

- Craigmillar Castle
- Doune Castle
- Dumbarton Castle
- Dunfermline Abbey
- Dunstaffnage Castle
- Elgin Cathedral
- Fort George
- Linlithgow Palace
- Melrose Abbey
- St Andrews Castle
- Tantallon Castle
- Urquhart Castle
