What to expect on your visit

Ravenscraig castle is free to visit.

The drawbridge is currently closed, but visitors can reach the castle via the staircase set within the old moat.

  • Daily 10am to 4.30pm

  • Last entry: 30 minutes before closing
  • Closed: 1 October to 31 March

How to get here

On the eastern outskirts of Kirkcaldy, off the A955 Dysart Road.

Parking available at Ravenscraig Park and from there follow the directional signage to the castle.
