Opening times and prices

The Glenelg Brochs are free to visit and open year-round.

Access

Dun Telve and Dun Troddan are located about 500 m apart, with Dun Telve near the river and Dun Troddan set slightly higher on a hillside terrace.

Small parking bays for 2–3 cars are available beside each broch on the narrow single‑track road that runs through the glen.

Dun Telve offers easier access via a mostly flat gravel path suitable for most visitors.

Dun Troddan requires a short, moderate climb up a grassy bank to reach the broch.

How to get here

About 8 miles south‑east of Kyle of Lochalsh, the Glenelg Brochs are reached by turning off at Shielbridge from the A87 onto the unclassified road to Glenelg.
