- Grade: Easy. May not be suitable for disabled people due to rough tracks and steep steps. Please contact the Ranger Service if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to adapt the walk accordingly.
- Age: Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult. Older/younger children also welcome to attend
- What to Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink. In hot weather also bring a hat and sun cream
- Toilets: are available before and after the event at the castle ticket office. No toilets on the walk itself
- Parking: Limited parking available at Blackness Castle
- Dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs
