- Meeting place: Broad Pavement Car Park, Queen's Drive, EH8 8AZ. Meeting point is next to the entrance of the car park on the grass verge opposite the car park kiosk
- Grade: Moderate. The route is over 3 miles long and contains some slopes including one long, steeper section. Surface is tarmacked pavement. .
- Route: Loop of the Queen's Drive. This may change.
- Age: This walk may not be suitable for children under 12 years
- What to Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink
- Toilets: are available at the Holyrood Park Education Centre (EH8 8HG). No toilets on the walk itself
- Parking: Broad Pavement Car Park (off Queen's Drive, next to Holyrood Palace). Parking charges apply. Free for blue badge holders
- Road closures: Holyrood Park roads are closed every Saturday and Sunday. Local roads and car parks may be subject to closures. Please contact the Ranger Service or call 0131 652 8150 for more information
