In this beautiful exhibition, paintings are showcased with corresponding poetry, showing how we can communicate without words. The titles of the paintings are generated from the words that the artist, Toni Harrower, finds significant in the poems. The titles then relate to her own colour-coded alphabet and provide a colour palate from which she starts painting. From this point, each piece follows a basic set of rules - working from left to right, top to bottom.
The paintings highlight the many ways a piece of writing or artwork can be interpreted. Make sure you come along to Duff House and find your own interpretation.
