Admission

We have introduced limits on visitor numbers to help keep everyone safe.

Entry to Broch of Gurness is currently free. 

Booking in advance is recommended to guarantee entry for the guided tours on a Monday and Tuesday.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Opening times

1 April to 30 September:
Monday and Tuesday, free guided tours (we recommend booking in advance)
Wednesday to Sunday, visitors can explore by themselves (no booking required)

Monument may close for lunch.
