Opening times and prices

The Ring of Brodgar is free to visit and open year-round.

Strong footwear is recommended. Please follow the one way system on your visit. Some sections of the inner path may be closed periodically to allow the grass path to rest and regenerate.

There are no toilets at the Ring of Brodgar. The nearest public toilets are at the Maeshowe Visitor Centre.

How to get here

The Ring of Brodgar is approximately 5 miles north east of Stromness on the B9055. Parking is available.
