What to expect on your visit

Mar’s Wark is the striking stone façade of a once-grand 16th‑century Renaissance townhouse, built by the Earl of Mar on the route to Stirling Castle. Although only the frontage survives and there is no interior to visit, its decorative carvings, statues and heraldic details make it a memorable and atmospheric stop in the Old Town.

Opening times and prices

Mar's Wark is free to visit and open year-round.
