1 St Andrews Castle

Explore the residence of Scotland’s most powerful churchmen which was built right by the sea. You can visit the unique underground mine and countermine dug during the brutal siege of 1546-1547. Once an infamous state prison, you can step into the bottle dungeon today and admire the impressive Hamilton façade.
