Symptoms of the History Bug now include the sound of thundering hooves and the clashing of steel. That¹s what you¹ll get as chivalric knights ready their noble steeds to prepare for an almighty display of courage and skill. Buying tickets is the only treatment. And doctors are convinced that lancing may help..
Don’t forget you can join Historic Scotland in advance to gain free entry or buy your event tickets in advance to save 10% (offer available until 23:59 on Friday 30 June).
Getting there: Public transport is available to Linlithgow and the palace is a 10min walk from the train station. Linlithgow can also be accessed by various bus routes from across the central belt.
