Parking

There is a Pay and Display public car park 75m from the abbey and electric charging points are available (run by Scottish Borders Council) with two accessible bays, but this can be busy during summer months. There is also on-road parking nearer to the site.

Opening times

Much of the abbey, grounds, cloister and museum are open to visitors. Some access restrictions are in place due to ongoing conservation work.

1 Apr to 30 Sept:
Daily, 9.30am to last entry at 4.30pm (closes 5pm)

1 Oct to 31 Mar:
Daily, 10am to last entry at 3.30pm (closes 4pm)
