Melrose Abbey

After exploring the abbey, the shop offers a wide range of souvenirs and Scottish-made products. Historic Scotland members receive a discount in our cafés and shops.

In the past, some of the souvenirs sold at our sites were imported from overseas and had little connection to the places visitors were exploring. To improve our approach to responsible tourism, we have now developed a ‘Made in Scotland’ range, we’re reducing transport‑related emissions, and we're strengthening the link between our sites and the communities around them.
