Welcoming school trips, leading nature walks, getting to grips with geology and dallying in folklore is all in a day's work for our Rangers.
Working across our estate
Our Ranger Service is based at Holyrood Park, Linlithgow Peel and the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site, and works right across our estate. Rangers care for these special places by patrolling and surveying sites, supporting the emergency services when needed, and helping visitors of all ages understand and enjoy them.
Through guided walks, group tours and welcoming events, our Rangers share knowledge about history, wildlife, folklore and much more.
