Sea Shanty Workshop
Join us for a morning of sea shanties and tales of life at sea at Trinity House.
Leith's seafarers travelled all across the world. On these long voyages they would entertain themselves with crafts, games, and music. Join traditional Scots singer Joss Cameron and learn about the history of sea shanties before having a go at singing your own seafaring songs! This unique experience includes a tour of Trinity House followed by shanties in our sixteenth century vaults.
Good to know
- Free car parking is available for users of the Kirkgate Shopping Centre and is limited to 90 minutes after which a charge applies. Free on-street parking is available nearby
- Easily accessible via bus and tram (nearest stop: Foot of the Walk).
- Disabled access to the ground floor of the house only. Please see our website for further information
- Please be aware the vaults are down a set of steep stairs
