Step into the world of Scotland’s national bard at Stirling Castle for Burns an’ a’ that - a lively celebration inspired by Robert Burns’ famous 1787 visit.
Throughout the day, the castle comes alive with colourful characters from Burns’ life and times. Meet Poosie Nansie and her cronies, enjoy lively songs and music, and hear the bard himself bring Tam o’ Shanter to life. Discover the stories behind his work, from friendships and love letters to revolutionary ideas and traditions.
Join in with music and dance, explore fashions of the period, and try your hand at classic Burns festivities – including the iconic Address to a Haggis to round off the celebrations.
With performances, storytelling, and hands-on activities across the castle, it’s a rich and entertaining tribute to Burns for all ages.
