Edinburgh Castle has had a long, storied history, full of vivacious characters, and yet many of the women have been sidelined throughout the years. Without the contribution of these women, Edinburgh Castle would not be what it is today, and the current women of the Castle are here to tell you their stories.

Our guide will take you around the site to tell you about these forgotten women who helped to shape the castle into what it is today. As you travel the paths they once walked, there may be some surprises along the way. This tour celebrates women and their contribution to our history. All are welcome.
