In this talk Stuart Baird from the Scottish Roads Archive joins us to explore the history of motorways in Scotland using material from HES Archives, particularly the photographs from D Wilson Laing, photographers, Blairgowrie, Scotland, a firm who specialised in photographing large construction projects in Scotland in the 1950s and 60s.
After the talk there will be an opportunity to view archive material related to Scottish motorway and transport history.
