Eat, drink and shop
After exploring the castle, you can relax in our family-friendly Lochview Café, where you can sample locally-sourced food and drink while enjoying commanding views over the loch and glen. The castle shop offers a wide range of souvenirs and Scottish-made products, including our official Urquhart Castle collection. Historic Scotland members receive a discount in our cafés and shops.

The café opens at 11am on 1 January.
