Inspect the fine early Christian and medieval sculpture collections of this ruined parish church.

Kilmory Knap Chapel was built in the early 1200s. By the late 1200s it was a dependency of the parish church of Knapdale at Keills. But judging by the early Christian carved stones found here, this was also the site of a much older church.

Within the chapel are nearly 40 carved stones dating from the early Christian period to the 16th century. Several other pieces of historic sculpture remain within the churchyard.

Many are associated with the MacMillan clan, who were prolific in Knapdale in the Middle Ages.
