Built around 1560, the fortified mansion is one of Scotland’s best-preserved 16th-century tower houses. Enjoy Elcho’s surroundings by the ‘Silvery Tay’, and admire the imposing exterior of the castle, with its many gun holes at ground level.

Then step inside the well-preserved, roofed interior and see the precious remains of decorated plasterwork.
