[POSTPONED] Arthur's Amble

Selected dates until Wednesday 26 August 2020

Holyrood Park

a group of people in walking clothes stand on Arthur's Seat looking out over Edinburgh

In light of updated Scottish Government advice regarding Coronavirus we have taken the decision to close public access to our staffed properties and our events have been postponed until further notice. If you would like to keep up to date about our events please sign up to our newsletter.

Come along on a gentle guided walk around Hunter’s Bog and St. Margaret’s Loch where you’ll learn more about Arthur’s Seat’s turbulent past, created by fire and ice.

Find out about the people who lived and worked in the Park from 7,000 years ago up until the present day and learn more about the rare wildlife that makes the Park so special.

This route is wheelchair accessible, although it does involve rough tracks and slopes. Please contact us if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to adapt the walk accordingly.

The walks on 4 April and 1 August are dog friendly.

The walk is suitable for ages 8+.
