- Meeting place: Broad Pavement Car Park, Queen's Drive, EH8 8AZ. Meeting point is next to the entrance of the car park on the grass verge opposite the car park kiosk
- Grade: Easy. Route contains rough tracks, uneven and boggy terrain, steep inclines and declines that may be difficult for wheelchairs and buggies.
- Age: Aimed at children aged 5 and over, but younger children also welcome to attend
- What to Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink. In hot weather bring a hat, sun cream and a drink.
- Toilets: are available at the Holyrood Park Education Centre (EH8 8HG). No toilets on the walk itself
- Parking: Broad Pavement Car Park
- Road closures: Holyrood Park roads are closed every Saturday and Sunday. Local roads and car parks may be subject to closures. Please contact the Ranger Service or call 0131 652 8150 for more information
