There’s a lot we don’t know about the marked stones at Drumtroddan. They could have been carved at any point between 3500 and 1000 BC, but by whom and for what purpose is a mystery.
The close proximity of this rock art to the Drumtroddan Standing Stones suggests the two sites may be contemporary.
