Storm Éowyn update for Sat 25 and Sun 26 Jan: our maintenance teams around the country will be busy checking sites following the storm and this may take some time. Weather warnings also remain for parts of the country.

If you're planning to visit a staffed site, please call ahead first to check if it's open. For unstaffed sites, check local travel news before starting your journey.

Historic Sundays

We want everyone to have a great day out at our sites, as we truly believe history belongs to us all! That’s why we’re giving everyone living in Scotland free access to our sites on the first Sunday of every month.

Never visited one of our sites before? Now is your chance

This offer gives those who have never visited our sites before a chance to explore. Whether this be due to cost, or you feel history isn’t for you, this is your opportunity to visit some of the most iconic sites across Scotland. We realise it has been a very difficult time for everyone over the past few years so join us on the first Sunday of every month, until March 2025 and get free entry to our iconic sites across Scotland.

Tickets for Sunday 2 February are available now. If you don’t get tickets this time round more will be available next month. Keep an eye on this page for participating sites and to book your Historic Sundays tickets.

Please note, this page may not be updated at weekends, and information about ticket availability may not be accurate during this time. If our ticket webstore booking webpage notes ‘tickets unavailable’ this means that the site is fully booked and there is no further availability
