Setting out our priorities
The AOP sets out our priorities for the year ahead. These will inform Directorate Plans, Team Plans and individual performance objectives. Progress on the AOP gets monitored through regular SMT and HES Board reports throughout the year. The final results of the AOP are published in the Annual Report and Financial Statements.
Delivering for Scotland
The Annual Operating Plan outlines our performance indicators for the financial year. The Plan focusses on six priorities: wellbeing, inequality and access, sector recovery, managing heritage assets, net zero, contributing to a stronger, greener and fairer economy and building HES.
Through this Plan we are setting out how we aim to maximise the benefits that the historic environment creates for people and places, to help us live happier and healthier lives and to help build the wealth and wellbeing of our communities.
The wellbeing of our colleagues remains paramount as we focus on recovery and utilising our many assets and skills to make a real difference to people’s lives.
