Training in Construction Crafts

Erasmus+ Project Report

Three stonemasons standing outside a historic abbey with their tools

Part of the Erasmus+ Traditional Building Skills Project, this report compares approaches within Europe towards the training of craft skills.

We analyse the strengths and effectiveness of training in Norway, Poland, and Scotland, explore the merits of the three different systems, and draw out conclusions and lessons learned about how craft training in Scotland might benefit from some of the approaches taken abroad.
