Conserving the Underwater Heritage

The underwater heritage subsumes the physical evidence (both direct and indirect) for the human past which survives underwater. Such evidence may exist beneath fresh, or inland, waters or beneath salt, or marine, waters. It may be visible on the bed of the water body or sea, or buried beneath sediment.
