The Dunchraigaig Deer Carvings

Prehistoric animal carvings, thought to be between 4,000 and 5,000-years-old, have been discovered for the first time in Scotland at Dunchraigaig Cairn in Kilmartin Glen. 
Experts from Historic Environment Scotland have authenticated the carvings. This information sheet provides some background and context to the discovery.
