Traditional Spoken Storytelling

Discover the art of spoken word, hear from an award-winning performer, and get top tips on spoken storytelling.

Scotland has a rich and fascinating history and the historic sites in our care span thousands of years. From them we have gained some insight into the past and the people who lived there.

It is no surprise that these historic places – especially Historic Scotland sites – have inspired many great storytellers over the years. We are looking to support the next generation of spoken word storytellers and would love to hear your tales.

The Scottish Storytelling Forum believe that ‘everyone is a storyteller’ and we are pleased to have them as a partner of If These Walls Could Talk.
