Window panel featuring David instructing Soloman from 1 Kings chapter 2, verse 2, with inscription 'I GO THE WAY OF ALL THE EARTH BE THOU STRONG / THEREFORE AND SHEW THYSELF A MAN 1 KINGS CH.II V.2'. From a series of windows made for Glasgow Cathedral by the Royal Bavarian Stained Glass Works, Munich, in the 1860s. The Munich glass was removed in mid-20th century. Over 2000 fragments are now preserved in the cathedral’s upper gallery.
