
Roderick Dhu whisky bottle
‘Roderick Dhu’ was a popular blended whisky produced at Dallas Dhu distillery, Morayshire. It is named after a character in Sir Walter Scott's 'The Lady of the Lake'.
The distillery opened in 1899 and produced whisky until 16 March 1983. Ownership of the site changed hands several times during this period. The site also closed during both world wars and the 1930s economic depression.
