About us
The Gaelic team’s remit includes working with different communities, organisations, groups, schools and universities to support Gaelic. The Gaelic team are happy to look at delivering tours or activities in Gaelic, of for Gaelic learners, at our sites or in communities for no cost. Schools can also apply for help towards the travel costs for visiting heritage sites.
The Gaelic team are also keen to support community projects and can look at visiting communities and schools, in person or online, to deliver learning activities or workshops.
Our Plana Gàidhlig (Gaelic Language Plan) 2023-2026 details our vision for Gaelic: Scotland’s Gaelic language and heritage is explored, protected, celebrated and passed on to future generations.
