Historic Environment Scotland (HES) has been acknowledged as one of Scotland’s top employers for working families, after collecting the highly commended award at the recent Scottish Top Employers for Working Families Awards 2018.
The award recognises HES’ efforts to ensure that employees have a healthy work-life balance and are supported in their wider activities. It was presented by Family Friendly Working Scotland – a charity organisation which promotes a flexible and family friendly work culture.
Nicola Ritchie, Head of Human Resources at Historic Environment Scotland said: “I was incredibly proud to accept the award on behalf of HES.

The Family Friendly Working Scotland award follows HES’ accreditation as a Scottish Living Wage Employer in 2017.
