Information for tour guides
There's always a dramatic story to be told about our sites, so it's no wonder they're popular with tour guides. Here are a few things to remember about organising and operating guided tours with us.
Tour guide tickets
Tour leaders accompanying guests to any of our sites need to be included in your total numbers.
Accredited members of SITOA, STGA and HOST receive free admission to all HES sites on production of valid ID, a ticket for them should be selected at time of booking.
We ask that all tour leaders and guides follow directions from our operational teams. This is to ensure the enjoyment of all visitors and to help your guides know what they can expect when they are on site.
Arrival on site
If you have a booking made through a credit account with us, guides accompanying groups will be required to provide a booking reference on arrival. They will be asked to confirm the correct numbers and sign for the collection of admission tickets.
If a guide does not provide a correct booking reference, the group cannot be guaranteed entry.
Tickets issued through a credit account will be invoiced the following month
