In 2019, we invited feedback on our advice to Scottish Government on the designation of historic marine protected areas (HMPA) under the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010. The two proposed sites that were considered for HMPAs were:

  • The Queen of Sweden, Shetland
  • Scapa Flow, Orkney

This document is a summary of the findings from the consultation exercise which shaped our advice to Scottish Government.
