Overview

This case study describes external repairs which were carried out to the Round  House, Pollockshaws, Glasgow. The building is of considerable historic and architectural significance, and has been category B-listed since 1970. It is believed the building dates from the 1750’s when the first turnpike roads were established in Scotland and it is the only circular form toll house left remaining in Glasgow.
