Skills Investment Plan Year One Report

Text on image reads Skills Investment Plan Year One Report, and in middle is a collage of black and white pics of old buildings, and a two colour images, one of a person hammering on an anvil and another of three young women looking at a document together. Along the bottom are logos for Skills Development Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland, and the Scottish Government

The Skills Investment Plan for Scotland’s Historic Environment (SIP) was conceived with the vision of building a sustainable skills ecosystem that would equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to safeguard heritage for generations to come.

One year after the SIP’s publication, this report showcases some of the activities contributing to this vision across the strategy’s footprint.

The SIP is a collective framework for collaborations and works towards three priorities: growing provision and building capacity, attracting future talent and improving access, and fostering innovation.
